১. Coordinating Conjunctions (সমবায়ক সম্বন্ধকারী)
These conjunctions connect words, phrases, or independent clauses of equal importance.
Common Coordinating Conjunctions:
For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So

Examples:
- I like tea and coffee.

২. Subordinating Conjunctions (অধীনতামূলক সম্বন্ধকারী)
These conjunctions connect a dependent clause to an independent clause, showing a relationship like cause, time, condition, contrast, etc.
Common Subordinating Conjunctions:
because, although, if, when, since, unless, while, before, after, though
Examples:
- I stayed home because it was raining.
- Although he was tired, he continued working.
- She will come if she finishes her work.

Pairs of conjunctions that work together to connect equal elements.
Common Correlative Conjunctions:
